A certificate of loss authorises you to pursue the debtor again. Manage your loss certificates with Debt Collection Counter-Plus. All documents and actions required for the debt collection process are available (electronically). For example, you can create a payment agreement, payment request or debt enforcement notice as a PDF at the touch of a button. You can schedule the loss certificate cases and have them monitored via the system. Debtor addresses and creditworthiness can be checked online for changes.

If a claim cannot be repaid or can only be partially repaid, the debt enforcement office will issue a certificate of loss.
In the case of a certificate of loss due to seizure, you can directly submit a new application for continuation within six months of the initial issue. Whether such a procedure makes sense must be examined on a case-by-case basis. This is because each new garnishment is associated with new fees.
The limitation period for certificates of loss is 20 years. If the debtor acquires new assets during this period, you have the option of pursuing the debtor again. At the same time, the certificate of loss serves as an acknowledgement of debt for provisional legal proceedings.
